About Us
Newment is a Platform created in Australia for individuals to work together to build like-minded communities. Anyone can launch ideas on the Newment platform. We will then use Patreon for Members to build the Newment.
Each Newment is technically "an unincorporated association."
Unlike an incorporated structure, an unincorporated association is not a separate legal entity from its members. It is simply the group itself, of people who have agreed to come together to pursue a common purpose, such as to establish a faith community.
The members of the unincorporated association do these things on behalf of the association. If a Newment gains significant traction, then the Newment can convert into a more appropriate legal structure.
